At camp, we will cook group meals and talk about Leave No Trace principles that allow us to recreate in wild places. This is a once in a lifetime trip to create amazing memories and bring more stoke to those interested in taking their climbing to the next level.
Price: $777.25 – includes transportation, food, climbing gear, and American Mountain Guide Association (AMGA) certified instruction. Does not include camping gear and gratuity for the guides.
*$100 charge through SCC for food + $677.25 charge through KMAC for everything else
Dates: April 20th-24th 2026
Open to kids 13-17 yrs old.
Our youth camp is for kids in our youth programs and for those interested in climbing outdoors! This camp is open to kids 13 to 17 years old, however if you have a younger child interested we would love to chat. We keep things fun, encouraging, and full of energy, giving kids a chance to feel safe and challenge their limits. The guides Samie and Daniel Hohl have over 10 years experience facilitating climbing programs for both youths and adults. They reside here in Steamboat but travel to guide in places like Alaska, Washington, and Wyoming. Dan has recently become a fully certified IFMGA guide and Samie is an AMGA Apprentice Rock and Alpine Guide specializing in outdoor youth programs. Both are Wilderness First Responders and CPR certified.
